A week in Spain & Disneyland Paris

On the 31st March 2024, four G-Line coaches and eight of our drivers embarked on a tour to Spain with nearly 150 students from Fred Longworth High School.

 

This private hire tour included a ferry crossing from Dover and an overnight stop in France before continuing to Salou in Spain. The group then enjoyed some free time in resort, a full day in Barcelona visiting landmarks and Nou Camp, the home of Barcelona FC, plus a full day in PortAventura Theme Park. The group then began their journey home through the night to enjoy a full day in Disneyland Paris, before a final hotel in stay in France and ferry crossing back to the mainland.

 

We first ran this tour for Fred Longworth High School in 2016 and it has been our pleasure to mark this as an annual staple in our calendar ever since.

 

Our Office Manager, Andrew, said: “It was great to get out of the office and spend a week on the road. What an adventure! I have to say a huge thanks to all of our drivers for your skills, graft, and patience this week.”

 

Our coach driver, John, said: “A massive shout out to all the staff and students at Fred Longworth School for their handling and excellent behaviour on the trip to Euro Disney and Spain, it was a pleasure driving you there once again.”

 

Fred Longworth High School’s group leader, Tony Fallows, said: “We’ve enjoyed another fantastic week away with G-Line Holidays to France and Spain. As always, everything was meticulously planned, the coaches were first class and the itinerary was operated expertly by the fantastic drivers! We’re looking forward to next year already.”

 

Another staff member from the school said: “8 days with 135 teenagers, 14 staff, and 8 coach drivers. What a blast we have all had! Memories they and us will never forget.”
