Don't miss this opportunity to see Highgrove Garden, the private residence of Their Majesties The King Charles III and The Queen Consort. Discover the striking development of the gardens and the important sustainable principles instilled over the past 38 years. 

 

Our visit includes an exclusive 90-minute guided tour and delicious set lunch in the Orchard Restaurant of Chicken Supreme, New Potatoes & Seasonal Veg, and Eton Mess. Your experienced guide will reveal the gardens' history and sources of inspiration, and explain the hidden curios and horticultural innovations behind them. From the magnificent Wildflower Meadow to the enchanting setting of the Arboretum, the gardens embody His Majesty's gardening ideals and organic principles.

 

We are pleased to announce 3 two-day tours on offer in 2024 - 30th June, 18th August, and 1st September. Costing £275.00 per person, this value minibreak includes our Door-to-Door home collection and drop off service, overnight accommodation at the 4* Swindon Marriott Hotel with Dinner, Bed & Breakfast included, coach travel throughout, and a visit on the outbound journey to Kiftsgate Court Gardens.

 

Created by three generations of women gardeners, the gardens at Kiftsgate reflect gardening through the 20^th century and feature many rare plants and shrubs, including the world-famous Kiftsgate Rose.

 

The Swindon Marriott Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, the ‘Grill Restaurant’ and ‘Cast Iron Bar,’ and leisure facilities featuring an indoor pool, gym and tennis court. All of the en-suite bedrooms include deluxe bedding, flat-screen TV and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift to some floors.

 

We also have one day excursion available for those in our catchment area for pick-up points across Blackpool, the Fylde Coast and Over Wyre, costing £135.00 per person. Prepare for an early start as we make our way to Tetbury for a 1pm guided tour of Highgrove, followed by your set lunch, and then time to browse the Estate Shop, stocked with unique gifts and organic products, before we make our way home. We aim to return to Wesham for approximately 9pm.

 

Some additional information you should know: Photographic ID is required for this tour i.e. Passport, Driving License, Bus Pass. The guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and there is nowhere to sit down throughout the tour. Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be the type well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways.
