CTA Fam Trip to Paris

Bonjour de Paris! This week, two of our staff members travelled to Paris, courtesy of the Coach Tourism Association and CroisiEurope, exploring ships for European river cruises on the Seine - and beyond. 

 

The trip included a mini-cruise and three nights’ accommodation on board CroisiEurope’s premium vessel MS Renoir. As well as learning more about the CroisiEurope fleet that provides river cruises in France and across Europe, our staff members also joined a guided coach tour around Paris, followed by free time to explore the city, visiting some of the sights of the French capital.

 

At G-Line Holidays, we are always looking for new product ideas for our discerning clients and ways to update our itineraries.

 

Our Office Manager, Andrew, said: "The cabins on the ship were immaculate and I really enjoyed sightseeing in Paris. We walked over 7 miles from Montpernasse to Notre Dame to Pont Alma. The next day we went from Quai Grenelle to Place de La Concorde, then into Palais Garnier and finally, Place de Tetre & the Sacre Cour. It was lovely to be invited to Paris and all in all a great trip."

 

Our Transport Manager, Alan, said: "It was great to be invited on this trip and to experience my first river cruise and to see Paris again after over 10 years. The cabin I was allocated and communal areas were excellent. The designers from CroisiEurope really have made the most of the limited space available on a river boat. The staff on board were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them, it was lovely to meet the Captain and the head chef. Paris itself was spectacular! Paris is hosting the Olympics this year and the vibe around the city and the overall cleanliness was great to see and feel. It was evident that time and effort is being put into ensuring all the famous landmarks and surrounding areas will be looking in tip top condition ready for the big event this summer!"
